Nitrile Lip Seals
Product Overview
Nitrile Lip Seals are specifically designed for each sealing application and are the only seals which are covered under the Tides warranty. The outer casing is made of an Aramid fiber composite which is integrally molded to a rubber hinge and lip edge. A 316-stainless steel garter spring is incorporated to distribute loads uniformly.
To order replacement seals, specify shaft or stock size. Both Standard and Metric sizes are available.
NOTE*
If possible, please supply the part # from the
face of the lip seal you are replacing.
Add "F" to the part number if ordering a
replacement seal for a SureSeal® unit in one
of the following sizes:
1", 1 1/8", 1 1/4", 1 3/8", 2", 2 1/4", 2 1/2", 2 3/4"
Add "R" to the part number if ordering a
replacement seal for a Tides Marine
rudder seal
Examples:
LIP SEAL-1125 is a 1-1/8" seal for propeller shafts.
LIP SEAL R-80mm is an 80mm seal for rudder stocks.
LIP SEAL F-2000 is a 2" seal for a SureSeal®.
