Washburn’s Boat Yard

Washburn’s Boat Yard Inc. is in its 30th year of operation. We are located mid-point on the Chesapeake in historic Solomons Maryland on Maryland’s western shore. The path to our docks from the Chesapeake Bay is only a few miles unobstructed by bridges with a minimum depth of 11 feet. We are a full-service boat yard with a professional staff holding certifications from ABYC, Naiad, Mercruiser, Volvo, Sea Land, ABBRA, Crusair and Northern Lights among others. We have two marine travel lifts. The smaller is a 35-ton unit and the large lift is a new 75-metric ton unit with a 162,000 lb capacity. A 6-ton boom truck is on hand for mast work and engine extraction. Washburn’s is a service facility exclusively … We have no marina, no restaurant and no putting green.
